Despite an unsuccessful series of Lumia smartphones, Nokia is still very popular brand. Everyone is waiting (probably out of curiosity) for the launch of the Nokia 6, which is the first smartphone with the logo of this company and with Android on board. It is true that HMD Global is the manufacturer of new Nokia smartphones. But for all mainly former employees of Nokia are responsible for this project. HMD Global also has patents owned by Nokia Bell Labs.

Many people expected that the first smartphone with the logo of Nokia and Android on board will be a flagship mobile that could compete with the best models on the market. Therefore, a lot of people feel a little disappointed when they found out that Nokia 6 is an average mid-range mobile. Initially the smartphone will be sold only in China. Currently, it can be ordered exclusively through the Chinese online store

More than 250 000 people have signed up to purchase Nokia 6 in 24h.

Each registration costs $9. Of course, this amount will be deducted from the price of the device, which will be available after 19th January. This treatment aims to deter people who later would resign of purchase. As a reminder, Nokia 6 will cost $245, i.e. about ¬£200. The phone has gained 44 517 points in the AnTuTu benchmark. This result was achieved by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor with 4 GB of RAM. The 5.5” display supports the full HD resolution (1080 x 1920 pixels) and it is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. Nokia 6 has 64 GB of internal memory, but it can be expanded by an additional 128 GB microSD card. It is quite possible that the smartphone will be available in two colours: black and silver.

Nokia 6 silver

Nokia 6 will have good, but not sensational camera.

Matrix with a resolution of 16 megapixels, autofocus with phase detection, f/2.0 aperture and sensors about the size of 1 micron should will be able to shoot good photo even with low light. Of course, parameters do not take photos, so we must wait with the final verdict for the smartphone premiere. The front camera has 8 MP resolution and 84 degrees field of view. This should be enough to shoot a selfie even with few people. Nokia 6 has a significant interest. This shows that people can not wait for the first smartphone with the Nokia’s logo and Android operating system on board. However, I hope that their expectations are not so high, because you can not expect too much for this price. Parameters not overthrow, but we all expect that Nokia 6 will be neatly made smartphone. I hope that we will not disappoint.
