Super Mario 64 always aroused admiration of players, who had famous Nintendo 64. This title moved then our favorite plumber from the world of 2D, to the ordinary world and new 3D technology. Thanks to that, the brand and this title was well advertised, and had a great chance to show further production. As it turned out, it was a hit of all console games.
Who came up with the idea for the 2D version?
Today, after 20 years, we can still meet fans of this great series. On background of all these years, it created a lot of fans production, as part of a celebration of some specific dates for the whole Nintendo world. And so it is this time again. Dave Pickett – one of the YouTubers, which is known for recording Lego series, did an interesting thing. Using own Wii U and game maker called Super Mario Maker, decided to shift all boards available in Super Mario 64 in the 2D mode. All of this to celebrate the 20 anniversary of the series, which first came to North America, in September 1996. As reported by the artist himself, after the updates to edit mode, giving the ability to add keys and pink coins, he decided to treat it as a star known from Super Mario 64, and closed the door as transitions between levels in the castle. With entering to game, listed below identifiers, from the very beginning we could find itself in action. ID’s give us the first boards Bob-omb Battlefield, Whomp’s Fortress, Cool Cool Mountain and Bowser In The Dark World, where we will be able to get 8 coins. This is only one of the maps, which is waiting for us fun and set the other four to restrict.

The style of levels created by the author is simple.
The way, that Peach Castle was divided and that Pickett could pack 3 worlds with key maps for each level of Super Mario Maker, mad this, that he was forced to package one of the preceding worlds to the next, so that in the set will see a pair of interconnected levels of its predecessors. Whatever he did it great and beautiful work, for the world players making it available for each remaining wizard, and wanting to see again the world of Super Mario 64 in a slightly different, it’s just you say, somewhat flattened 3D version, which would have really big chances debut, if the title came out on consoles NES.
