More and more smartphone manufacturers are choosing to release their devices in Dual SIM versions. A few years ago, this feature was quite unique. Today, two SIM cards can be inserted even to Samsung flagship mobiles. Maybe Apple will soon join this group.

Previously, Dual SIM smartphones were targeted mainly at less affluent clients. However, the situation has changed. Today, Dual SIM smartphones are popular with people with two phone numbers: private and business. That’s why manufacturers such as Samsung and Sony offer flagship in options with two SIM cards. This when the first iPhones appear in a similar variant is only a matter of time. Without this solution Apple is on the lost in countries where the majority of people use the services of at least two operators. This is at least in India, where none of the operators can boast a nationwide coverage.

Unfortunately, the iPhone Dual SIM will be more expensive than the standard version

An analyst from KGI Securities informed investors that Apple is likely to release three models of its smartphones this year, two of which will be available in versions with one and two SIM card slots. The first one with a 6.1″ LCD screen will cost between $650 and $750. The version with a single SIM card should be $100 cheaper. The second model with the 6.5″ OLED display will also be available in the Dual SIM version. The last of this year’s iPhone is going to have 5.8” OLED screen and have a slot for only one SIM card.

This is not the first time that rumours about the iPhone with two SIM cards have appeared. The first such information appeared on the web already in 2016. It was said then that the iPhone 7 will be available in the Dual SIM version. As you well know, these rumours have not been reflected in reality. Will it be different this time?
